Ye Shall Be Cut Into Many Pieces
Ye Shall Be Cut Into Many pieces is a musical journal of sorts. For every day of the year 2000, I recorded 10 seconds of something . . . no matter where I was or what I was doing. Sounds range from complete compositions written and recorded at home to field recordings of tour performances and church bells recorded in Madison, WI. On Jan. 1, I began editing these collected sounds into manageable forms. The result is this document . . . a hulking, sometimes noisy, scary creature called Ye Shall Be Cut Into Many Pieces. In addition to the year that it's took to record everything, I spent 3 months organizing, editing, manipulating & mixing the sounds and getting all the artwork and design for the CD just right. I'm very proud of the project and the way it turned out. It was a huge undertaking, but I think it's very representative of my musical year for 2000.-- $10.00

Glenn Hall
Red Circles
“It’s about sacrifice,” says Atlanta-based singer/songwriter, Glenn Hall, of the title song for his upcoming release, Red Circles. “So it seemed like a nice title for the album because the theme of laying down your life plays throughout the whole collection.” While songs like ‘Dangerous Place’, ‘Stand For You’ and ‘Anything’ explore that theme from the perspective of a believer, ‘Kneel With Me’ gets inside the head of the One who made the ultimate sacrifice. “The Gospels’ accounts of Jesus in the garden have always been so fascinating and challenging to me,” he says. “When you read those passages you see a very vulnerable side to Jesus. Here’s a guy who needed His friends, needed prayer and needed reassurance from His heavenly Father as He faced a challenge that truly scared Him. I can really relate to that.” Songs like ‘Ladder of Life’ and ‘Sure’ showcase Hall’s willingness to embrace that vulnerability as he sings about the responsibilities of growing through the stages of life and the sacred commitment of marriage. “Sometimes I freeze / on the ladder of life,” he admits in a raw, passionate singing style. Red Circles was recorded at Twelve Oaks Studios in Smyrna, Georgia by Randy Bugg and features musical contributions from Atlanta-based heavy hitters like guitarist Jason Hoard, bassist Pat Malone, drummer Scott Meeder, keyboardist John Carrozza and vocal producer Cheryl Rogers. Hall, who took two years off from his post as a Worship Pastor in the Atlanta area to help plant a church in New York City, has produced a thought-provoking collection of gems that are well worth the wait. This music rocks you, moves you and challenges you in a way that is fresh, real and unique in the genre. –Bob Lombardi, AWD-- $12.97
