I’m from London, England, came to the US in 1991 to Boston (Berklee/New England Conservatory) moved to Philadelphia PA in 1996 and to New York in 1998. I’ve been fortunate to play and record with a bunch of great musicians including: Danilo Perez, Bill Pierce, George Garzone, Kenny Werner, Paquito D’Rivera, Seamus Blake, Uri Caine and many, many more. As a leader I have 2 CDs out under my own name ‘The Future, The Past’ & ‘Made in Brooklyn,’ samples of which are on this site. My 3rd CD will be coming out this year. My goal is to be a contemporary player conversant with what’s going on now but always in touch with the roots of Jazz, Latin music i.e. it’s really important to groove and for things to feel good. That applies to my composing too.
