His Monotonous Beard received the following comment: "I absolutely love this track, Zzaj! The Zzaj and Hausmann backing is an extremely effective backdrop to Bennett's prosings. It's strange how things change - right back to where they came from... I started out with Bryan's GAJOOB right when he started it.. kinda' "moved away" into my own zone, yet here I am putting my catalog (back) up on his site!
We hope you'll enjoy the free trax we are putting up here (they will all be full songs, no sample tracks), and that if you like what you hear, you'll consider purchasing a CD or two - the occasional sale is what's allowed me to pursue my music, purchase new equipment & keep my 'zine (IMPROVIJAZZATION NATION) going for so long.
Above all else, what we've always hoped comes through in our music is a sense that if you maintain your sense of INDEPENDENCE, you can make just about anything happen that you want... more as it happens!
In addition to the free tracks here, you can also listen to some of my PODCASTS at:

music slippery to the mind. You never can quite figure out where it
is going, and that makes it cool. Good use of dynamics and all the
frequencies from low to high. I like the low drum once more and how
it is panned away from center. very nice. " --zefuldar (posted 06/03/08)
The kick sound is big, and I like all the variations. It is insteresting
trying to identify all the percussive sounds. And the synth just floats
back and forth dreamily. Existential!

Mysterious and elusive. Well recorded and mixed. Very nice work. " --zefuldar (posted 06/03/08)
