The Drool Brothers are real brothers Chuck Mancillas and Tom Slik, along with guitar genius, Joe Kramer. The Drool Brothers have released an orange vinyl single and a full length CD on their own label, Barfing Glitter Records. They use older gear, Joe's home made pedals, compressors and customized mikes, cheap fuzz boxes, farfiza, a real sine wave, children's toys, metalflaked bongos to create musical chaos on top of Chuck and Tom's soul laced grooves. College Radio has taken a liking to their unique sound and they have appeared on several compilations. Though Chuck and Tom are no strangers to the elite of L.A.'s underground, they cherish the time in the garage, away from the pretentious L.A. music scene and sterile wood panelled studios.
Zappa, Beck, P-Funk, G. Love, Johnny Thunders, Mancini, are some of the names mentioned when trying to label the Drool Brothers. Their 2nd full length CD will be out at the end of 2002 - if nothing in the studio breaks.
