The music of "microjazz" covers a wide range of musical styles. From funky (BQCT Blues) to latin (microjazz), swing (Troll Child) to afro-cuban (Fanfare for the Silver Horse), fusion (Millennium) to contemporary classical (Ellen's Bag), and "gospel boogie sax" (Wednesday Night Boogie) to jazz zydeco (Hippopotamus Rex), Kevin creates his own form of jazz fusion that can only be described as "microjazz." Instruments that Kevin uses on this recording inlcude saxophones, traditional and ethnic flutes, piano, keyboard, guitar and percussion. He also uses experimental sounds, such as saxophone through wah-wah pedal and plastic instruments bought in toy stores.
