We are walking down the street… right behind the Humvee
Johnny has his back to me… and I can’t see Jimmy’s face
And I thank the Lord, all mighty… that my buddies are still around me
Wondering what it is, I’m doing… in this God forsaken place

We came from different countries, far from beyond the sea
To get rid of the bad Dude… and set the people who hate us… free
We’re walking tall, we’re looking strong; we try to do some good
So tell me, how come? The people… give me that strange look.

Jimmy takes two men with him… and goes around the block
I think we got the sniper! Watch out! Second floor- nine o’clock!
The RPG’s, IED’s and this… (Finger) unfriendly gesture
I pray to God… oh, please, please! Couldn’t we go any faster?
