Björn Eriksson

DSC05044.JPG

My music is often experimental ranging from totally freaked out electronic pieces to free form acoustic improvisations and all there in between. I am also known at some places under the names International Garbageman (especially over at Tapegerm Collective) and Miulew.

This is a very special song for me. Made initially for the Klanghausen project at .microsound. It is made with some experimenting with an very short impulse and lot's of granulator processing. Credits: Bjorn Eriksson

This is a rather unusaul track for coming from me. Beauty harmonics and some small feedbacking going on. This was the first track made on a new computer bought back in august 2002. Credits: Mix by Bjrn Eriksson

This is an old electronic track from International Garbageman dating back to 2001 when mp3.com still was a place for creative people sharing homemade music. Rememering these long wait for approvals when the mp3.com staff should approve or reject a track. Some days this process could up to 4-5 days. Not to speak about the long waiting times for uploads on the slow 56k modems we used to have back then... always time for a cup of coffe anyway. Some words about the track then... I think this was made using ACID and some captured snippets from some live web radio communication - could have been LAPD or some other department. Anyway, this was one of the first tracks that I was pretty satisfied with publishing on the net. The word Kithara refers to the old greek instrument - could it be some resemblance to guitarra - guitar? Credits: Mix by Bjrn Eriksson
