RECENT ARTIST NOTES
Cancer Moonchild received the following comment: "I dig the twisted vocals and hideous fuzz bass. I've gotta get this sound! You rock Jeff!" --Don Campau (posted 10/14/06)
Exit received the following comment: "great experimental piece! kind of a Pink Floyd flavor, the processing effects of the Moog really add a unique dimension to an already great tune. really nice job!" --cystem (posted 06/09/06)
Black Swan received the following comment: "very nice "test piece"! great melody and playing on all the instruments. has a sort of 70's rock dirge vibe, i think it would've make a great soundtrack piece for a movie like "Almost Famous" or something similar." --cystem (posted 06/08/06)
The Procession received the following comment: "excellent, slightly darker take on the Clinger collab. very nice additions with the Mellotron, really well played and composed! great job!" --cystem (posted 06/01/06)
Cumulus received the following comment: "ah, the first brave soul! i like the vintage synth additions, i think they give it a more cosmic, spacey feel. like being in a satellite, floating in an endlessly orbit around the Earth. nice job on an admittedly difficult collab piece! :)" --cystem (posted 06/01/06)
The Procession received the following comment: "This is beautiful. As a big fan of the mellotron, I'm more than willing to be carried away by it." --ken_clinger (posted 06/01/06)
The Procession received the following comment: "Excellent composition here, love the mellotron & the moog combos, great vibe indeed. Another wonderful addition to the collaboration project. Bravo!" --Mental Anguish (posted 05/25/06)
Cancer Moonchild received the following comment: "I'd love to see this performed live. This makes me want to drink right from the bottle." --spilling (posted 05/24/06)
The Procession received the following comment: "It is exceedingly easy to be carried away by this piece, to domains of fancy and delight and a spring there gushing wine and this mix in equal increments. Again bravo in the plural, bravissimi!" -- (posted 05/24/06)
The Procession received the following comment: "Wow! I love all these Mellotron things, along with the Moog, and you've orchestrated the arrangement beautifully. I've played this several times -- really nice!" -- (posted 05/24/06)

I try to write and record music in as many styles and genres as possible. I play most of the instruments on my solo work but I occasionally like to record with some of the excellent musicians that I have met and associated with over the years. I record my music onto a variety of formats including a 2-track stereo reel to reel recorder from the early 60's, 4-track analog cassette, and 24-track digital.
I have recorded 7 solo albums and 6 solo EP's. I have also recorded with "Tonto Savalas" and "The Buddha All-Stars", two very experimental rock bands who have "home produced" over 24 full length albums between them.
In addition to my solo and Tonto/Buddha outings I work and record with an "improv" rock band called "House Music" whose music is always improvised as it is recorded. I have recorded 18 albums with "House Music".
I am also half of a duo called "Spooky Garcia". "Spooky Garcia" is a collaboration between myself and fellow homemademusic.com artist Rob Scheys. We play Country and Bluegrass music in the style of the 1920's and 30's greats but we also have a soft spot for 1950's and 60's Country music. We are currently writing music for our debut CD.
