Industry Krapp is an anomaly within the current crop of electronic artists. This artist (duo?) that lists its influences as pre WW II country blues and chronic migraine headaches has concocted a CD that swings wildly from industrial/experimental electronic music "Scrape (rain), #8 Tuesday, Drivin' Modoc, Noise" to electro pop chillers such as "Song for a Friend & Daybreak" (the stand out track on the album and worth the price of the CD alone!). Along the way they break for some techno style dance music "Pardon my French", Not Good Enough for You, Kelsey's Song, Whisp", Pounding funk with industrial layering "Ugly, Kick, and some electro-ambient dub "Groove 'n' ". Meanwhile the titles of "Dance & Funky Musak" may sound standard, but the cuts are examples of experimental weirdness that belie their titles. Exercises in Electronic Tension, Mental Tachycardia, Pop Tones, Drum Machine Arrhythmia, Computer Attention Deficit Disorder, Noise, Ultra-Sonic Sample Abuse... Mood Disorders." -- M. W. Siereveld
